In Mid 2019, HP introduced LaserJet® Enterprise M507 monochrome printer, it has an OEM-rated print speed of 43 pages per minute (ppm) and a monthly duty cycle rating of 150,000 pages. The multifunction (MFP) version, the Enterprise MFP M528dn, has the same print specifications, with copy, scan and fax functions added. Canon has several models based on the same print engine, including but not limited to the imageCLASS® LBP325 and i-SENSYS® LBP325x. Also MF542x and MF543x multifunction printers (MFPs). All of the Canon models have the same print specifications as their HP equivalents.
The only supplies item is an all-in-one toner cartridge. Replacement all-in-one cartridges have OEM-stated page yields of up to 5,000 pages (standard yield), 10,000 pages (high yield) and 20,000 pages (extra high yield) for HP. For Canon models, replacement all-in-one cartridges have OEM-stated page yields of up to 5,100 pages (standard yield), 10,000 pages (high yield) and 21,000 pages (extra high yield). The HP printers ship with starter cartridge yield 5,000 pages, while the Canon printers ship with a 5,100 page yield starter cartridge.
Cartridges for both OEM's printers require a chip for correct printer operation.
